| Objective: To evaluate systematic reviews or meta-analysis of motor imagery therapy on post-stroke motor dysfunction. Methods: The SR/ meta-analysis of MIT in the treatment of motor dysfunction after stroke was searched in domestic and foreign databases from the establishment to September 2023. The literature quality and evidence quality were evaluated by AMSTAR 2, PRISMA 2020 and GRADE system. Results: Eleven studies were included. The AMSTAR 2 results in 2 moderate quality, 2 low quality and 7 very low quality articles. The PRISMA 2020 showed that 3 articles reports were complete and 8 articles reports had some defects. The GRADE showed that there were 49 outcome indicators involved, of which 2 were moderate quality, 24 were low quality and 23 were very low quality. Conclusion: This study demonstrates that MIT contributes to the rehabilitation of post-stroke motor dysfunction. Due to the limitations of quantity and quality of the included study, more high-quality studies are needed to further confirm the reliability of efficacy of MIT on post-stroke motor dysfunction. |
