| Alzheimer 's disease is a central nervous degenerative disease characterized by progressive cognitive decline and behavioral changes, and its specific pathogenesis is unknown. Studies have shown that the excessive activation of the complement system plays an important role in the process of Alzheimer 's disease. Inhibiting the excessive activation of complement provides a new clinical direction for the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer 's disease. This article will describe the correlation and research progress between the complement system and the development of Alzheimer 's disease, and summarize the progress of complement targeted therapy for Alzheimer 's disease. |
