MicroRNAs are widely expressed small RNAs in eukaryotes, showing differential expression in many diseases. MicroRNA-122 (miR-122) is a signaling molecule closely associated with neurological disorders and has been extensively studied in cerebrovascular diseases. This review summarizes the role and mechanism of miR-122 in cerebrovascular diseases, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for new research targets and the development of related drugs for cerebrovascular diseases. |
