Objective: To investigate the family resilience of primary caregivers for patients undergoing surgery for intracranial aneurysm and its influencing factors. Methods: A total of 210 patients with intracranial aneurysms who were scheduled to undergo surgical treatment in the hospital from December 2020 to December 2023 were selected. A week after surgery, the general information questionnaire and the Family Assessment Resilience Scale (FRAS) were used for investigation. The factors influencing family resistance of primary caregivers for patients undergoing surgery for intracranial aneurysm were obtained after data analysis. Results: The FRAS score of primary caregivers for patients enrolled in this study was (95.39±10.68), indicating a middle level of family resilience. The FRAS scores of primary caregivers for patients with different per capita monthly incomes and different family structures were significantly different (P<0.05). Family resilience of primary caregivers for patients with intracranial aneurysms was positively correlated with psychological resilience, family world view, social support, family intimacy and adaptability, as well as coping with family crises. It was negatively correlated with primary caregivers’ care burden (P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis found that per capita monthly income, psychological resilience, family world view, social support, family intimacy, adaptability and care burden were factors influencing family resilience of primary caregivers for patients with intracranial aneurysms (P<0.05). Conclusion: Family resilience of primary caregivers for patients undergoing surgery for intracranial aneurysm is at a middle level and is influenced by per capita monthly income, psychological resilience, family world view, social support, family intimacy and adaptability, as well as care burden.
